So i got myself a sony bravia kdl-42w653A and connected it to my computer via a wireless hdmi transmitter and receiver. The problem is that my computer recognizes the sony bravia tv and all but the sony bravia recognizes my computer/wireless hdmi receiver as "MHL". I´ve been googling some and found out that mhl is some kind of tablet/phone connection to the tv to send pictures/movies. So basically my tv says "HDMI 1 / MHL" and the screen is black. I thought there was something wrong with my wireless hdmi received/transmitter so i tried them on another tv (an older model) with the same computer and all and it worked great. Is there some kind of way to deactive the "MHL" function in my TV so it recognizes the HDMI receiver as a normal HDMI unit and not MHL? I really need to use the HDMI wireless to be able to connect my computer to my tv. Please help.
