Continusly "System Shut down"!

Hi everyone;

I have a dead Vaio on my hand and now that I am using my PC, I get system shut down everytime!

When I switch the machine on, I get a message to close all the files within 60 seconds!
These words are also in the message: "NT Authority System through (RPC) Remote Precedure Caller"

At first I thought there is a Virus somewhere, but when I scan it, there is no virus.!
Does anyone knows why this is happening and how to prevent it?

I think that you have the Blaster Virus despitre what a virus scan says.

It would certainly worth trying a removal tool and installing the Microsoft update/hotfix.

If you are sure you haven't got a virus and your Windows is bang up to date then I don't know?

Assuming you have got the Virus your anti virus software must be well out of date.

I would suggest that after getting rid of the virus you immediately update your virus software and all available windows updates.
