Help! my cover Latch is Broken, I have a Vaio PCG-FX701 notebook

I can't register to E-support, I'm not the first owner, The man I bought the notebook from cannot be reached anymore...

Still might be worth calling the number because I think they do repairs on machines that are out of warranty etc.
