DVD burner fro my PCG 315S

Hi

I need to replace the DVD burner of my PCG FR 315 S notebook. Can anybody help me regarding where to get a new dvd burner which is compatible and better than the one I got with my laptop

I got Toshiba 6012 originally in my laptop

Is your old burner faulty, or do you just want a new one?
If its faulty then surely this is covered by Sony's warranty :smileygrin:

Dude thanks for reply...My laptop is 2 years old and out of after sales service. I had bought with 1 year service. Does hardware has 3 years warranty ?

If you have a full warranty for 3 years then yes you're covered
