Hi,
I have Sony VAIO VPCF22M1E/B with Windows 7 Home Premium x64 HUN and I wanted to update the NVIDIA video driver to Graphics Driver Update (NVIDIA) - 8.17.12.6830 (EP0000249885.exe), but the extraction fails. 😞
By the way I downloaded the 3DMark 11 from http://www.3dmark.com/ and the benchmark result is very-very low for 3D.
Have you got any idea how to solve this issue?
Thanks in advance,
Gabor Varga

Hi all,
No reaction from Sony, at all...
There is a downloadable compatible graphics driver on the NVIDIA site:
http://www.nvidia.com/object/notebook-win7-winvista-64bit-280.26-whql-driver.html
Best regards,

The same Vaio notebook, the same problem... 😞
I'll pass this informationon to Sony.
In the meantime, have you tried manually downloading and installing this update from the Support Site for your model here: -
http://support.vaio.sony.eu/computing/vaio/downloads/updates/index.aspx?m=VPCF22M1E_B&l=en_GB
:smileyconfused:?

HI guys, I tried the same with no result. Finally I tried to install driver "275.33-notebook-win7-winvista-64bit-international-whql" from nvidia website. Unfortunatelly, there is problem with HW compatibility.
David.
The same problem with my fz21z,
I have reported this to Sony and they have advised a fix or replacemnt driver will be issued.
Thanks!
Gabor
Hi all,
Ehh... I think I will sell this piece of sh*t and buy something else and never advise to buy anything from Sony...
