HOT Keys on PCGk115Z don't work

Hi all,

Non of the Hotkeys on my PCGk115Z work anymore.
Like for ex. if I press Fn+F5 it refreshesh everything (Just like pressing only F5) than decreasing the brightness...
Can anybody help me in this please.

I have tried reinstalling everything on the system and brought the system to it's factory default settings. Still the problem persists...

Please... Please help me...

Have a look in your C:\Drivers folder, see if there is a Hotkey Utility setup in there? If not you may want to have a look if it's on www.vaio-link.com and reinstall it from there.
There aren't many things to go wrong with the Fn key, so if that doesn't work maybe it's broken or something?

I have tried that. Still it's not working. In fact I have brought the system to it's factory settings, still no success..!

Have a look in the C:\UTILS folder and run the UTILS.EXE package - this will reinstall the hotkey software.

I think it is best to visit VAIO-Link and get a phone number for Sony support - they may insist on a pickup for repair.

It sounds like a faulty Fn key.
