Left Mouse Button on PCG-K315Z

prob with left mouse button - seems like one of the springs has gone, its now no longer flush to the unit - left side of the button gone in and the right side up more than it should, but it does still work. it is still under warranty but concerned as to whether sony will deem it as physical damage/wear and tear or not. its only had normal useage, nothing dropped on it. Anyone had experience in getting repairs done? If they deem it physical damage then there is a flat charge of £35/42, but they cant tell me whether I will be charged or not until the repair centre has had a look at it.

Hi

Welcome to the Forum:smileyhappy:

I'm pretty sure Sony won't be rushing to admit that it is anything to do with them.

You're in a bit of a Catch22 situation really because, either way, you're ultimately going to have to send it off to them to look at - especially as the machine is still under warranty.

Had a similar thing with my GRX, the spring isn't as good anymore so the key moves around.

It's still usable so I carry on using it.

Else get a mouse
