Newbie needs a lil help

Hi everyone!!
I'v just bought my first VAIO!

I'm just filling it up with music as i type this but theres a few things i need help with.....

is it possible to put MP3's onto my VAIO? Coz wen i open it by going My Computer > Removable Disk, it only has tracks as .OMG files.

But if i drop an mp3 file into the Audio folder on the VAIO, they dont appear in the library.

2) Wen i've transfered the files from my laptop, they appear on the VAIO in no apparent order, some Alums contain tracks which arent even on them and some albums all contain the same tracks, wat the Fook is that all about? I'm not a fan of the sonic stage software to be honest, is there any alternative?

3) Is there a way of grouping several Albums by one artist? because i can only seem to have each individaul album as a single file and not group them all into one artist. For example, i have several albums by Sasha on my VAIO, but i cant put them all into 1 single 'Sasha' Group, if i wanted to, i'd have to put each individual track into the group folder- which is no good.

4) and why does the software keep telling me that it cannot find the files, even tho they are stored on the hard drive of my laptop?

Hi, .OMG is the file extention for Atrac3, if you want to put MP3's into SS you need to import them with SS not just put them in the folder, also have you updated to SS 3.1 and done the firmware update for the VP?

For getting a playlist of a particular artist, use the search feature when in 'all tracks' view.

You don need version 3.1 you need 2.3 or above and believe me 2.3 is much much better.
