Recovery dik issue

Hi, if I run recovery disk, this will fix windows xp problems?
The disk has anything like the WinXP disk?

I can only access my laptop by cmd command. I have one problem with explorer.exe and I don't know how to fix this, because I don't have WinXP disk.

My laptop is VGN-FS115Z.

Hi,

Recovery disk will completely reinstall your computer. You can choose c or d or both to recover.

Be aware of the fact that after recoverying your computer will be in stage as you bought it - without your documents and any additional programs you've installed, so it is strongly recomended to backup your data before running the recovery utility/disk.

If you going to recover only drive c you can move your data to drive d and then do recoverying, if both use cd/dvd/external drive.

Sorry, but I have another question.

The recovery disk starts alone? Or I must go, like it says in one vaio website, start\programs\vaio recovery tool ?

Because I don´t have explorer!!! This Recovery disk 'boots' itself without going to the program? Sorry my sintax...I hope you understand my problem.

I think you do need to go to the program in the start menu.
If someone could give you the full path of the program you can press control R for run and type it in
