Sony Vaio not loading windows after start up

I have a Sony Vaio VPCEH3B1e and up to last friday night it was working but now once i start it up it goes the window logo and just stays there. I have tried to reboot and safe mode and Vaio Assist and noting. The Hard Drive is making a funny clicking sound so I think i might be gone. I have only had for 10 months so going to bring it back to shop. I'd still be under warrity right?

Thank Rich912. It won't go past the window start up screen. so I'm bringing back tomorrow to shop where i bought. I'm currenty using my old dell that I have had since 2005.

Do you mean boot goes as far as the Vaio logo?

A clicking noise from the hard drive and failure to proceed beyond POST is usually an indication that the drive has failed and if is the case, and there is no physical damage to the notebook, then the repair should be covered by your warranty.
