strange kind of cd-r problem

I have a PCG-FX702 notebook, when i burn 24 speed cd-r with audio files, no problems.
But when i burn 48 0r higher speed cd-r with audio, then i got a problem, wich is;
When i burn a 48 or higher speed cd-r with audio, in every kind of speed, it will play in my home cd-player, but i can't skip, when i skip, the cd-player stops playing.
I have try different kinds of cd-r, only the 24 speed cd-r gives no problems.
No they say to me, update your firmware, but i can't find any firmware for my HL-DT-ST RW/DVD GCC-4080N. I burn with Nero 6.
Who can help me with this problem, nobody or store gives me a solution.

Never burn an audio CD > 4x, the audio can go bad in places.

Sony send me a message with the specs of my combo drive;
24X CD-ROM
8X CD-R
8X CD-RW
8X DVD-ROM

They said, you can burn on 24 speed cd-r without problems, if you use 48 speed or higher, you can have problems.
I have also try to burn on, 2x / 4x speed, it make no differents.
So now i have to buy 24 speed cd-r, but ther aint no 24 speed cr-r to buy in the store, only 48 speed or higher.
They can't be serious, in other words, if you don't want problems with your burner, you have to buy a new cd-burner with higher specs, come on now, they said also, you have to burn with SonicStage and not with a another burn software, Yeh right :devil: , i have burn also with SonicStage and it gives the same troubles.
I asked the sony support-desk, they said, if you return your laptop for service, and we burn a cd and play it in a sony home or portable cd-player, and we can't find any problem, we can't do anything for you. :thinking:
That's the point, in a old sony cd-player, it will works, i have try it, but not in a maratnz or kenwood.
And how can they explaine, that the 24 speed cd-r, can play in every cd-player, it drives me mad.

What a load of nonsense, Sony should know not everything is trouble free. They should know not two machines are the same and CD players vary. This really is wrong. I would consider getting an enclosure with a LiteOn, but still, it's not cheap.

Don't really know what you can do, I had this sort of nonsense off another retailer.
