Upgrading S3XP Windows 7 &/or SSD?

I've already enhanced my trusty S3XP (2GB RAM, 500GB HDD). I'm wondering whether I can/should upgrade it to Windows 7, and/or an SSD.


Does anyone have any experience of either and/or know whether either is possible/advisable please?
