VGN-BX295VP speaker crackling

Hi I've got a Vaio VGN-BX295VP laptop, the front left speaker keeps crackling. Can anyone suggest any steps to resolve this? I've checked the internal connectors and they are fine.

Edit 21/4/11: Will report back to see if I get similar results on the audio out jack.

I was going to say, I have tested the audio out jack and it works fine.

Does anyone know where I can get spares for this model?
