Sometimes when I try to connect my VAIO A-115s to a wireless lan, my computer recognizes coverage - but I am unable to connect.
All the settings are correct. I tried it with another Laptop and it worked.
My Vaio always shows the network but thats it.
2 times it showed me "retrieving IP" but stopped right afterwards.
This happens at different Hotspots while it never happens with my second computer.
At other networks there is no problem. (Same network provider, but I suppose tehre is a different hardware in use - at least the antenna on the wall looks a bit different.)
There is no WEP - all settings are retrieved by DHCP.
Any ideas that can help?
