PS4 no signal on samsung tv but works on computer monitor

I've got a standard PS4 that I've been using connected to an iiyama pro lite XB2783HSU monitor for months. I just got a new 4k samsung tv and I keep getting a 'no signal' error when trying to connect the ps4 to it. We have tried it on different TVs and it does not work on any of them. Even an old tvand still nothing. I have done every possible troubleshoot in safe mode, even reinstalled the system software. It still works on the monitor but will not work in any of the hdmi ports on the tv. Anyone have any ideas? I bought this second hand and the previous owner had it connected to a smart tv with no issues.

This forum is mainly for home electronics and smartphones, but I think if you hold Power while it's connected to the TV it will do a reset of the resolution settings and work (at least my old PS3 is like that).

You should definitely call up PS support though.
