Performance can not filming the display - only take o photo. How come??

I have a new Performance and my old one, Z2, had a function which Performance does not has: when you press "Power"-button you can take a photo of the display AND videotape the display!! Very good! So why does not Performance handle this? It´s a newer model so why go back in developing...Or is there an app which I can install for this purpose in my Performance??

Indeed, this option was removed from Xperia X and onwards, but you still can find alternatives on Google Play store. Some names like "AZ Recorder" and "Screen Recorder 5+"
