Why is Sony now building smartphones that are not waterproof?This was the trademark of Sony.And why ever thicker bars, with the new smartphones I'm not satisfied.And therefore, I remain with my SonyZ2 which works fine. Bzw.: Not all of them
The Xperia X does not have an IP rating and as such we cannot claim it is waterproof. We do have water resistant devices in the X range though, the Xperia X Performance and the Xperia XZ are both IP65/68 rated. The upcoming Xperia XZ Premium and the Xperia XZs will also be IP65/68 rated.
