Hi there, this is my first time posting in such a forum but here goes.......
i got the Sony Xperia X back in January and upon removing the Sim Card/SD Card holder in the side to input both my own Sim Card and Micro SD Card the little laminated paper tab got caught inside the phone and when i pulled a little harder, to enable enough space for my to correctly insert the Sim and SD Card into the slots, the tab came off the holder and was stuck in the phone so i got a pair of tweazers and safely removed the tab, which i then found had my phones IMEI number printed on it,
i thought nothing of this but in the last 4 months we have tidied and de-cluttered and i have lost this little tab,
2 weeks ago i was charging my phone, like i always do (at around 10% - 5%) and at around 67% i needed to quickly go onto Google to search for something and once google chrome opened my phone went dead, i had no charging light or any indication the phone had any life left in it,
so i Contacted EE (my SP) and sent it away only to find out noone will touch it (under Warranty) without that Pathetic Little Tab,
As you can see i have not Maliciously or deliberately removed that tab, in fact it was through no fault of my own that it got seperated from my phone and i really want to find out of there is a way to get my phone fixed under the Manufacturers 2 Year Warranty,
I am not being a cheapskate i literally don't have enough money to pay for either a 3rd Party repair or a repair performed by Sony,
we recently came of holiday a week ago and due to having a 4 year old that is still unaware of the dangers of being near train lines (her first time on a train) i had all my attention on keeping her 100% i left a Rucksack, that included our Laptop, my Tablet, a Portable HDD with all my Daughters Disney Films on and all the presents that we had bought family and friends, on the train, this meant we had to use my wages to buy everything, except the presents, from Ebay and Amazon etc. and i dont have a well payed job as it is,
So thats my story and i hope someone may be able to assist me in getting my lovely phone back on its feet and running again
If any Management happen by on my post i plead that someone can do something to help me reolve this issue.
Thank you in advance and thank you for your time a patience
Best regards
Daniel M. Wright
