I can't ring my son's mobile from mine. He has an iPhone 5S. We have both deleted each other and added again, but it's still the same. It doesn't even ring on his phone. On mine I get the engaged sound. I've checked to see if he's accidentally blocked my, but no. It doesn't happen on any other contacts just his.
Can anybody help?
Hi @Meunkey, welcome to our community!
I'm sorry to hear about this, must be very inconvenient.
If I understand correctly, your son is able to call and you can answer the call? If that is correct, is there any change if you call your son by just typing his number and not using the contact that is stored in your phone?
I would also recommend that you reboot your phone in safe mode and place a call to your son. Just to make sure that a third party application isn't the cause of this.
If you have another SIM card that you can insert in your phone or if you can borrow one from a colleague, family member or friend and try placing a call to your son with that SIM card instead of your regular one that would be great!
Let me know how it went!
