Can't unlock phone after it has been reset.

Would you be so kind to elaborate a bit on what you are experiencing? 

There is a anti-theft feature in our newer Xperia devices called Google Device protection that gets activated when you add a Google account in your phone and you activate a screen lock that is either a PIN, password or a pattern lock.

To unlock your phone you will need to enter your Google credentials and the phone will be unlocked again so you can use it as normal. If you have performed a password reset on your Google account you will need to wait 24 hours before you can use the new password to unlock your phone.
