Messaging not working

Messaging app not working - error msg 'Com. Android. Phone not working' appears and the msg loops, unable to use the phone

Try this:

Goto settings -> apps&notifications-> tap the 3 dots upper right corner-show system

Find messenger and tap on it.

Goto storage and clear cache & clear data

Restart device and see if that helped you.

Other option just for checking: does it happen in safe mode too?
