Sound off and on without command

Sometime when I am watching a video, or even when i recieve calls it doesnt always ring, sound goes off. Any solution?

Mine just started this morning using both games and videos. In Canada, build 42.0.A.3.30.

It seems to be okay now that I've deselected the ClearAudio+ setting in Sound/Audio Settings.

Should also mention this setting was not on by default. I selected it myself about a week ago.

I've been meaning to update that my method failed after a day or so. Now the problem has gotten completely out of hand. Every video clip or game has the audio cut out entirely from the beginning, fade to nothing intermittently, or crackle with distortion. I think it's safe to say this problem won't be fixed by Sony at this point. I'm deeply disappointed with the lack of outreach from the company regarding this. I guess the silver lining is that I can finally eliminate them from Android considerations. This phone is garbage.
