Volume turns up on it's own

The past 2 days the volume on my XA Ultra will turn up on it's own. Usually it will be on silent or vibrate and it will randomly turn up to the lowest volume that would produce sound. I'm not pushing the buttons as it occurs even when I'm not holding the phone on the side with the buttons! This is very frustrating. What can I do about this? I'm highly considering returning the phone.

Hi @Malti, sorry to hear about this, must be very annoying.

You mention that you have started to experience this behaviour in the last couple of days, do you remember if you installed a new software update or a new application just prior to this starting to occur?

I would recommend that you start with rebooting your phone in safe mode and see if you experience the same behaviour here. In safe mode all downloaded applications won't be loaded so we can see if any of them is the cause of the volume being turned up automatically.
