I have had an issue with my Xperia XA for the last 10 days. I have had the phone for 4 months and it started to randomly turn off. I completed a software repair via the Xperia Suite but am still getting the same issue. I downloaded a malware/virus scanner and it has not come up with anything but did show the temperature was going over 60 degrees when it wasnt even hot. I uninstalled it as those apps are notorious for draining CPU and still getting the same issue. Any suggestions on a fix?
@coffeeholic if after a software repair you still can't get your phone to work, before you send it for repair please do this test for me: Remove SD card and SIM card, perform another software repair and try to use your phone without inserting the SD and the SIM card. If the phone will work properly without sim card or sd card then you know one of the two (or both of them) are at fault and provoking problems.
@YoGem I have tried the recommendation and still encountering the same issue. I did the repair with both taken out and added one at a time with no avail :(. Back to square one
@coffeeholic I am sorry, I thought I was able to see a spark and a slight issue provoked by a software glitch but instead after all the tests I can't keep delaying the inevitable, you may need to contact your Local support to have your device inspected.
