Android version: Android 4.4 (KitKat)

Latest available software: 23.0.A.2.93

Release started: 2014-09-22

This may depend on your country and network

Hey so in my opinion it's because the battery is being used all the time. I mean at the first phone start the battery went to 4 days and I was surprised. Even at ultra stamina mode it didn't even take 1% of battery for the night. But when I charged it downloaded some games, music, films the battery immediately decreased. Now in ultra stamina mode it takes me 5% at night. Im not sure but I did a reset to fabric settings and I feel the battery is stronger I didn't download anything yet. Also I bet if I left it for 2 weeks turned off after a full charge the battery would be as in first boot

my version ends in .98 rather than .93 due to network. Is this update an official sony one? I can't seem to find anything about it anywhere, sony hasn't mentioned anything and I contacted vodafone who also have heard nothing about it. I've sent an email to sony to find out if/when it will be rolling out on my network

I have contacted them too, waiting for answer. But as they used to say, the answer will be like:"we don't know about that, updates depend on country and/or network" Grinning_Face so this isn't way:D think it's not official sony's update because on their website is still. 93 version 😕

.98 is a genuine release as to is .93 but if we go by order of release by date then .93 is the latest and .98 is predominantly a Vodafone firmware for EU countries but not all

Try performing a system repair as this will often fix issues after an upgrade - This will factory reset your phone

Switch off your phone and unplug from Pc (Hold volume up and power for around 10 seconds)
Start PC Companion and select Support zone then Update my phone/tablet then in Blue Repair my phone/tablet and follow the onscreen instructions - When prompted connect your phone still switched off holding volume down or back button - This should start the repair or reformat process

If you are using Windows 8/8.1 or a 64bit operating system then adjust the settings for PC Companion and run in compatibility mode and chose Windows 7 or XP
