Battery Drain

Hi all. I've had my Sony Xperia Z1 Compact for 18 months. All of a sudden it is dying at 30% battery. It doesn't last further than about 1500 in the day. Do I need a new battery?

Hi Blindearl, good advice from @uliwooly. Also, keep an eye on what seems to be using up the most battery under Settings > Power management > Battery usage.

Randam battary drop from 80% to 15% in an hour or two and from 15% 0% in two minutes. Using Xperia Z1 two years old latest software 5.1.1 reinstalled through Pc but no improvements. Any solutions please
