Battery Live

Hi All 
I buy my Xperia 6 months ago and thats my 2nd smartphone ( 1st was Xperia X10i) 
In my X10i after 1,5 year battery live was max 8h even if I don't use it so i changed it. 
In this we can't change bettery so what we should do to extend battery live to max ? 
There is lots of myths about it like: 
-Dont charge to 100% just to ~80% like Samsung Notebooks 

-Dont discharge to 0% just to ~40% and charge it 

-Dont Overcheat phone, batery dont like high temp 

-Use battery savers 

-We can charge it when we want and how long we want becuse battery work beter when we charge it often. 

What is the truth ? 
What is the best for the battery ?

1. that's a lie charge it to 100% if you want to 

2. it will be wise to not let it go bellow 4% as the phone will power off and it might take a while to charge it 

3. that's true to any phone 

4. stay away from battery savers, if anything use stamina mode 

5. you can charge it whenever you want
