Hi all,
Have replaced my Z10 with an Xperia Z3 Compact.
Called into Optus and got them to set me up with a nano-sim and was told activation would be within 15 minutes to 4 hours.
It's now three days later and no connection to network.
Optus says the activation is all ok at their end.
Phone is completely unlocked and was purchased new from JB Hi Fi outright.
Any ideas?
I have tried to look at the APNs on the phone and it replied 'not available for this user'????
Is there a chance hat the APNs on the network are still set for a Blackberry?
Thanks,
DJ
That's probably the issue, contact your network directly

Hi Uliwooly,
Tried the internet and MMS download and although it gave me the choice of 'Optus' and 'Vodafone' it was not able to download.
Frustrating.
Cheers,
DJ
Manually entered the Yesinternet and MMS settings with no joy.
I put a $2 Telstra sim in the phone today and works fine. It may be the Optus APN is set to Blackberry service book settings.
Off to Optus to find out.
