Continuous Rebooting of my Xperia Z1

This is how things started. On 09 Aug 14, roughly 6:30 pm evening. My phone's battery was low, while I was taking a selfie the battery ran out and phone switched off, I kept the phone on charging and left it for 4 hrs. When the led indicated green color, at around 11 pm I removed it from charge. And tried to switch it on. But strangely, my phone starts up, boots for 20-25 seconds, seems to hang and then restarts again. Even before any functionality of phone can be checked. Also noticed unusual heating of back panel near the earphone jack and rear camera. Checked all jacks for possible water leakage, but all flaps are white on the inside, indicating no water leakage. My android version was 4.4.2 or 4.4.4 (don't remember exactly) I have tried restarting the phone through master reset and power + volume up. Button for numerous times, but that does not seem to help either. Mobile not being recognised by PC suite as well, ruling out any possibility of software repair at home. May kindly suggest, what could have caused this trouble all of a sudden and remedial measures for the same

Try to perform a system repair

Switch off your phone and unplug from Pc (Hold volume up and power for around 10 seconds)

Start PC Companion and select Support zone then Update my phone/tablet then in Blue Repair my phone/tablet and follow the onscreen instructions - When prompted connect your phone still switched off holding volume down or back button - This should start the repair or reformat process

If you are using Windows 8/8.1 or a 64bit operating system then adjust the settings for PC Companion and run in compatibility mode and chose Windows 7 or XP

But isnt it the case that, if i try doing so, then i will also lose all of my phone data? Is there a way of recovering from the problem, without losing my data? Also, had lately noticed that earphone jack of my phone was not working properly as well. While my earphones work perfectly fine with other compatible items like laptop, and music players, but when plugged in my Xperia Z1, sound is limited to single ear only.

Yes all files will be erased and there is no way round this - As I said above the only thing you can do is try and perform a system repair and if this doesn't fix it then contact Xperia care for your country http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/

I did all the things that was said here but it doesn't work.

A week after I upgraded to Lollipop, factory reset, repair phone still doesn't help. Does this need to be a hardware reset already? Help please! I am having a hard time using my phone for days... Slightly_frowning_Face
