Feedback on firmware updates

Dear Sony,

If my information is correct, the TX has several features, what weren't included in the T's new firmware. For example the full screen lockscreen, that hides the system buttons from the bottom of the screen. I don't know the reason, but it doesn't seem that it couldn't be included in this phone's firmware too.

In case if you are interested in the customer's opinion, it looks way better, if the lockscreen fills out the whole screen. Go ahead, and ask the people. There were already several discussions about this.

Oh, and the dialer looked way better when it was dark, please take it into consideration to change it.

And there were a lot of complaints about the camera performance as well, please take that into consideration too.

Much as I'd like fixes for these problems I'd like them to fix the stability issues and the corrupting of SD card first.

I hope they will listen to you.

As you can see, for now the issues keeps there.

Would be nice if they would fix all that... but unfortunately this is Sony.

Do not keep the idea that they will fix anything.

There are lots and lots of complains about the camera, sd cards, wifi problems... etc, and the problems are still there since day 1.

You just remember that you're talking to Sony, so the dissapointment will be lower.

Of course, there are many flaws, but I can only speak for myself. I had never encountered problems with the wifi or the sd cards... only expected a better camera performance, and maybe porting BE2. At the same time, I  really hope that they solve the problems what other people have. What I mentioned can be solved with changing a few lines in the code and I simply can't stand the attitude, that if someting can easily made better, why don't they try to listen.

I know exactly what I can expect. But regardless they listen or not, I did my part.

For those who are on the T-Mobile U.S. carrier - DO NOT update your Sony Xperia 10 VI (XQ-ES72) to the latest May 2025's firmware (70.1.A.3.188).  This will revert the phone back to the same issue we encountered 5 months ago with 70.0.A.3.194, where 4G LTE and 5G NR are disabled on the network once again!  The phone would only connect you to 2G EDGE, and the speed is painfully slow!

I thought the developers had learned from their previous mistakes by fixing this issue which worked fine for the past 2 system updates, but it seems like they just released another faulty firmware that bricked T-Mobile U.S. data once more!
