Just simply open the image attached to the forum in a new tab. And you will see the original.
Is this Superia auto and manual mode?
Few tricks, The sky it's really bright and if your camera focus on the sky then everything else will be dark, even with HDR, you could set touch focus, touch the building and try again.
Or you can use the camera button (physical button), lower the camera just few degrees > press and hold the camera button half way there so it focus > move it back to the original angle > press the shutter all the way down.
Also is low light the images will have this effect - did you have your flash enabled?
Focus nothing to do with. If you're talking about exposure - that Sony does not adjust the exposure "on tap".
When manually adjusting with HDR enabled turns worse: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2bYnoFdQgTmTTN5Ti1rN0xIRkk/view?usp=sharing
It does not help to fix the terrible Sony post-processing HDR. I think this just should not be: http://dl2.joxi.net/drive/0001/1514/128490/150326/9f832fb0b3.jpg
Explain to me why there is no difference between them? More precisely, HDR is even worse! Simple: http://dl1.joxi.net/drive/0001/1514/128490/150326/175f099e1c.jpg
Watched example HDR image from a friend under the same conditions (smartphone S5). There HDR really expands the dynamic range. Building without noise and can be seen even the curtains on the windows!
