How many version of 5.0.2 does actually run on Xperia Z3 tablet

I have two Sony Xperia Z3 tablets, one from a German phone company and one from French Amazon. The German one is updated to 23.1.A.0.690  in late March and the French one is updated to 23.1.A.128 mid May.

These versions are not identical. One feature which is missing in the German device is the possibility to clean and close all apps all at once. Do you know if I could synchronise the system with NFC or something else?

Also 5.0.2 run smoother and lags more on the French device one.

Hi

Software updates are released at different times depending on operator and/or country. This is the reason both of your tablets are running on different build numbers. Each tablet of yours has different customization ( one French and the other Germany ) and there is no official way by which you could make them both run on the same customization.

I'd suggest you to wait , the other tablet of yours should get the update soon as well.

Now regarding lag on one of your tablets ( I'm assuming both the tablets have same settings including the settings under power management. That is stamina mode and ultra stamina mode) , I'd suggest a clean re-install of lollipop once again which would help remove the glitches if any and make your tablet work faster and smoother.

Here's how.

Update / Repair your phone via PC Companion

Download PC Companion and install it. Do not connect your phone until you're asked to do so.

Launch PC Companion > Start Support zone > Start Phone/ Tablet Software update > select Repair my Phone / Tablet > Follow the on-screen instructions it shows.

Thanks for the tip. But I have tried the repair and reinstalling the new update on the German tablet 3 times now, cleaned all the cache first, volume down, etc, and it is still lagging and not performing as well as the update on the French tablet.

Guess, I will just wait. A bit tired of reinstalling over and over.
