Light manager not working on Z3

I downloaded light manager so as to have different led indications for various tasks and also change the current led for existing situations such battery charge etc.

But unfortunately no matter what settinsg I do none of them apply and the default led light shows up for any activity.

Doesnt this app work with xperia phones?

Or any suggestions for a diff. app.

It does but with only a few which depends on whether or not the device supports multi colours like the M2 etc

Light Manager did work for my Z1 though

A few things that i made were :

1)enable Notifications Light in Settings
2)Start On Boot enabled
3)Use alternating mode
4)Static LED 1 mode
5)Enable "Notification Access" at Settings,under Security

Only functions when the phone is sleep.

But these are for Z1,not sure whether you already did those or they are different from Z3

Light Manager is only working for sms and missed calls led notificvation.

Rest such as for battery, it doesnt work and nor for others like aerplane mode, signal, silent and vibrate etc.

So any other similar but working app which I can try??

Hi, i'm sure there are quite a few on the Play Store......just a matter of testing them out i'm afraid....tho there may be certain functions like you mentioned that you are not able to change or activate without possibly rooting

So maybe Z3 and Z1 do have difference.

But @RohitTech have you tried those such settings? The battery notification also works for my phone.

Some other apps that i found useful are Light Flow and LED Blinker Notification

Mate Light manager is now working fine. One needs to restart the phone for the first time you install and configure Light manager. And thereafter you can make any changes and just restart Light manager and it works fine. This is the case I discovered with Z3 Compact.

Though it works for 80% notifications, it doesnt work for some such as Aerplane mode, bluetooth etc.

But doesnt bother for me though.
