Random failure

When I went to bed last night my phone was approximately 60% charged. I have had it for about one year and have always been happy with it. There were no apps running and no alarm set. When I got up, the phone was completely dead. I connected it to a charger and the red light came on but the phone still would not respond. I left it on charge for about ten minutes but there was still no response. I kept it on charge and after about half an hour it suddenly came up with 3% charged. I could then switch it on and it seems that it works OK.

Does this count as a one-off random event or should I suspect something more sinister is going on? I am about to go on holiday and my phone will be important to me as I have a map-trekking app which I will want to use fairly extensively.

Any advice gratefully received.

Chris

@Chris_G

it could've been an app acting up or a bug, you could repair the phone with PCC if you want to, but it's not required
