sms repeat message alert

Just bought experia e4 and cannot find any settings for repeat sms message alerts -- is there any or is ther an app which best covers this please

Are you asking if the messaging app has a setting to alert you when you get a duplicate txt?

no just when i get a text you only get one alert -- the last phone i had had repeat alert every minute until text read

Android doesn't work like that, with that said, there are apps that you could use to remind you, either you want the phone to vibrate or pop up messages like the iPhone, etc

I honestly recommend you to use another third-party SMS client, like Textra or similar. Built-in one is rather broken - most of my recipients don't receive my messages, but when I use third-party one - everything works like a charm.

That's why android phones have the notification LED which blinks until you read it, if a phone doesn't have one I would stay away from it. In my opinion every android phone should have Led as mandatory.

led notifications on e4 is just an useless feature, blinking rate is too slow

it's working, i also use it for face messenger.

at default it repeat only missed calls, you have to set it for every app you want to repeat.
