Sony Xperia Z1 Compact USB OTG don't see any device connected

Few days ago I decided to test USB OTG on my Z1 compact.

It has Android 5.1.1 (14.6.A.1.216) and I have original Sony USB OTG cable which was included with phone.

When I connect any USB accessory (like mouse, pendrive, keyboard) it is definitely powered but nothing pop up about any connection, but I know my Z1 Compact has support.

It could be useful to say that in all aplication like the USB OTG Checker or USB Host Check it says that my phone:

- has OS with USB OTG API (Found android.harware.usb.host.xml)

- has NOT USB OTG Sygnal detected

or

android.harware.usb.host.xml - is ok

handheld_core_hardware.xml - USB Host not enabled

Please help me in any kind, thanks

Hi,

There are no specific settings for this. When you connect a mouse for example, the mouse pointer should appear on your screen and you should be able to navigate with the mouse. Do you have the possibility to try another OTG-cable to see if it works?

Yes, I have the second cable too and both are working well with a different phone - Samsung Galaxy S3.

That's my problem, everything says it should work but it won't, especially with original, signed cable.

Strange. If you connect your phone via USB-cable to a PC, do you get a connection then? Could you try to boot your phone into safe mode and connect a mouse via the OTG-cable?

Connection via PC is working fine, in safe mode otg also can't see any devices connected. That's why I'm searching for help. Factory reset didn't worked too.

Have you tried to perform a software repair using PC Companion via PC Companion or Bridge for Mac or just a factory reset? If you have not tried a software repair, I suggest that you perform one to see if it can help.

Otherwise, I think you would do best by visiting nearest service center to have your phone examined by a technician. You can contact your Local support for information about nearest service center and/or how to proceed with this in the best possible way.

Trust me I have tried everything except physical repair, thanks for responding.
