What update are you talking about?

If you are trying to update the apps, it could be around 10-15MB each, if are you trying to update your phone then it will be around 600-800MB, although, there had been small updates of few MB, you should use PCC or Bridge to update your phone

You are referring to system updates right? If you are doing it using Sony PC companion then surely it will take approximately 800MB or even more. So you need a quota or pack of at least 1 GB or better go for 1.5 GB or 2 GB.

if you are doing it using your phone update centre then the update size can be as less as 500 MB and sometimes even less.
