Dear All
hope I will find someone to help me and avoid me to restore my phone with factory settings.
I have a Sony Xperia Z3 DUAL SIM
I have successfully upgraded my phone with Lolipop 5.0.2
I use it in french language
The phone is encrypted (professionnal usage).
I also use a SD card of 64gb (encrypted also)
Everithing was functionnal until I switch off the second sim card (my professionnal phone) for the weekend and reboot the phone (one sim card On the other one OFF)
Since this action, I'm unable to activate again my professional SIM. The phone boots, and request my Sim1 Pin code. I enter it and the phone request the second one.... again and again and again...
The only way to use the phone is to take the sim card off the phone to use it (after another reboot)
Anybody has already faced to this problem ? Any solution ?
Waiting hearing from you
Best regards
Bertrand
Did you try your second SIM in another phone to see if it works there too?
Dear Quester
Thank you for your answer. The second sim card works perfectly on another phone.
I had already the same problem with my Z>" dual. The only way I found was to initiate again my phone. I would like to avoid to do that again.
Waiting hearing from you
Best regards
Bertrand
Try putting the working SIM in slot 1, and deactivate slot 2 from Settings -> Dual SIM settings. Then power off your phone and insert professional SIM in slot 2, power up your phone, then re-acticate slot 2 again from Dual SIM settings.
Dear Quester,
Thank you for your answer. In fact I have found a solution before to see your post :
The SIM2 was desactivated. I put sim1 in slot 2 and SIM2 in Slot 1 + reboot and the SIM2 came alive !
Probably a bug with lolipop. I didn't have this issue with version 4.
Best regards.
Glad to hear.
