Why can't I set my notifications volume independently from my ringtone volume?

OK so that's dreadful. How about locking the volume buttons to media volume only. It's kind of hard to go back in time compared to my galaxy s3 that could do these things by default. Sort it out Sony!!

By default the volume buttons level the media or call you are accessing. Have you talked to support?

Why would I need support? It's a feature the phone doesn't have. I want to be able to have my ringtone at full volume. My notifications at a lower volume. It's a task my galaxy s3 could handle from stock. And why can't I disable the ringtone volume from my volume buttons. I'm not here for help. I know these features are not implicated. They are the only gripes with my Z3. I'm here to perhaps find a workaround perhaps. I can't be the only one.

2.You can disable the ringtone volume if you press volume down until you brint it to silent.

2. I think you misunderstand. I want to set my ringtone volume. At say max. And no matter what I do with the volume buttons it will not affect the ringtone volume. So there only use is media volume. Sorry if you thought I was being disrespectful.

Restart your device,normally the volume buttons can reduce the volume for ringtone+notifications.

Hello @mr_xzibit , perhaps there is a 3rd party app in the Google Play Store that may do this for you....:smileyhappy:
