Xperia P: Doesnot shuts down

I have started getting dis problem from past 2 days..

Earlier whenever my Xperia Frozed.. i used to restart it.. or force shut down it.

bt now form past 2 days.. wen i tired to force shut down it.. the screen frozed.. it showed power off.. phone is shutting down.

bt acutally it didnt..until my battery died..

wats wrong..

Whenever you wanna force shutdown, press "power button + volume up button" for 5 seconds until the device vibrates

might aswell repair your phone with SUS if you always experience hanging problem.

Hey guys, I'm facing same problem. My phone keeps restarting after Sony and then Xperia logo. If I press Power+vol Up button, it again restarts. I'm trying to repair it using SUS. But, I'm not able to shutdown it. To repair, I must press and hold vol down button while connecting it to PC. But can't do that. How to force him to shutdown instead of restarting?

I could able to shutdown it by pressing and holding power+vol up+vol down buttons for 10 secs.

How can I backup my content if my phone keeps restarting? Can we backup data even if phone is not started?

If the phone keeps restarting,PCC will not be able to backup,it tells you not to disconnect while the operation is done.

Ya I lost everything. Just finished repair using SUS. Now it's working.

dear Candidate,

you must have to press 

power +volume up button at lest 10s.

it will vibrate two times .

then again you can update your phone.
