Second time having a useless microphone no one can hear me again, so have to yet again send the phone in for repair at a my own expense and time. Great fun Sony.
I am havin trouble affording an alternative phone that allows me to test mobile apps I'm developing and get my work emails, so my question is can sony just go ahead and send me an advanced rma replacement, while I send in this obviously fubar phone? Other companies have done this for RMA, they hold your credit card details just incase you don't send them anything in exchange so they can charge you. It works well and takes away some of the inconvenience of having to RMA a product that SHOULD have been delivered working.
I have no faith in them being able to actually repair the microphone since they CLAIMED to fix it last time, and all that was different was a slight chip on the front by the speaker (thanks for that Sony!).
So is there any way I can either get an advanced RMA, or just a full refund so I can get an alternative phone model that actually works as a phone?
It's a real shame, I've always bought sony products as the quality has been great, I'm less than impressed with the Z2 quality and would never buy a sony phone again to be honest unless they completely changed their quality check procedures
Daniel.
Sorry to hear this but you would need to either return your device to the place of purchase or contact Xperia care http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/
