Hi there,
I have searched through the forum a bit, but haven't found the exact same problem I have yet, so here it is.
I got my phone close to a month ago, and it was working fine, battery life great, everything running smoothly till about week ago.
I started to noticed sometimes in the notification has the mobile data is disabled sign, which when I'm at home connecting to wifi, this would indicate the phone has reastarted on it's own. Then I did see it happening with my own eyes as the phone sat right next to me. Then I started to notice that it would sometimes just completely turn off on it's own.
So here's what I have done so far:
1. Already performed PC companion fix 2 times, and made sure all my software is up to date; didn't fix the problem.
2. Installed the bare minimum of apps that I would normally use; problem still occurs.
3. Curretly testing it out in safe mode to see if it'll do the same thing (which loads no downloaded apps)
So my questions are:
1. if safe mode running no additional apps solves the problem, what am i suppose to do? download no apps? then I might as well go back to a old brick phone or something if I can't run my apps for communicaton purposes (That's prretty much all i have anyways, various email clients, and chatting apps... not really games)
2. is this a phone problem i should just send the phone back to xperia care to take care of?
I bought two phones recently in Taiwan, one for myself which is this Z3 Compact, and the other is for my boyfriend, a T2 Ultra. I already had to send the T2 Ultra in because the SD mount was faulty and wouldn't read SD card properly, and now my own phone too? I must say I am extremely disappointed Sony! I have been a Sony user for many years, and does this indicate a reduced level in quality control? Please don't disappoint us.
Thanks.

First. Remove the sim card and remove the sd card and try to use the phone with out it.
that's what I'm trying with the safe mode right now
but what good is a phone without sim card though?.. a phone is suppose to be used to make phone calls XD

Remove both the SIM and SD cards AS THEY MIGHT BE CORRUPTED, hence creating this issue. And Not to just simply use the phone with out them But to test the phone with out them and see if it works or not.
My apologies, I guess there's some validity to that.
Reporting back, safe mode didn't work, so no the downloaded app I guess.
Right now testing removing SIM, if this doesn't help, then last test will be removing SD.
Thanks y'all . Will keep updating.
SIM Card removed in safe mode
didn't work~
turned it self off within an hour of turning on
next~ sd card removal
