Android 10 update was a disaster, I had all the problems others are seeing, slow or no response from fingerprint reader, camera crash, slow icons, generally slow and buggy....I persisted, eventually reset phone to factory and installed the Sony release 52.1.A.0.618 .
A fair bit better, but still not as good as v9 Android. Fingerprint reader still slow...and phone goes off into the woodwork every now and then. Disappointing...
But...I now have a unique problem with one app I am struggling to get any support with.. I have a Ubiquit Protect app which is for monitoring IP cameras.
Everything works fine...except when a video clip or still is downloaded it will not save to the phone memory, downloading occurs, or at least the progress bar says it is downloading, right at 100% a message pops up "could not download selected clip" then dissapears..no picture or video saved. Used to work ok on v9, no other app seems to have any issues. Have restored app twice , tripple checked permissions. Ubiquiti support struggling...just me and a few others reporting problems. Samsung tablet on v9 Android works fine.
Sorry for the long rant ...But any ideas anyone ?
