I'm really sorry to hear that. Could you please elaborate a bit on what you are doing when you notice the heat? If your phone is charging while you use it, it can get at bit warmer than usual, and the same goes for if the phone has a lot of active applications running in the background.
I do recommend that you temporarily put your phone in safe mode, browse the Internet and see if the phone still gets warm. In Safe Mode all third party applications are inactive, but you can still use all basic functions, like calling, messaging and browsing the Internet. .
I also recommend that you check if there is any updates to your applications and the system. You can see updates for your applications if you go to Play Store > the three lines in the top right corner > My apps and games > Update all.
System updates can be found if you go to Settings (> System) > About Phone > Software update.
