@ItscueM101do you mean the swipe up gesture to open the list of apps? long press on the empty spot on your homescreen, go to Settings and enable Hide Apps icon.

Exactly.  that is the function missing. We did the same action earlier today but that option is not there. The technical support said it is removed by Sony.  Is it the case here? Such an important added feature that helps alot while driving since its harder to locate that apps button in the middle of a moving car. Thanks

@ItscueM101 if you go to Xperia Home settings, what's the Home version number?

also, you know, you shouldn't be using your phone while driving.

What you mean, I should not use my phone while driving? I use the navigator on the Google map. Thank you for the thought but I am a responsible driver. It's connected to the on-board blutooth of my ford. Lol The question on Home version 10.2.A.4.1

It's one convenient function that came with android oreo 8.0 that still works well for others. It does not limit your access to other installed apps by tapping on that tiny apps button but by swipping your finger up anywhere in the screen. Also, it is widely embraced by other devices. Cheers!
