NFC problem after Oreo update

NFC not working after Android Oreo update. Could Sony quickly resolve the problem? Till now there is no update or remedy. There are quite numbers of issues after the android update. Please test the update first before rolling out for updates. Very disappointed 😥

Recently noticed that my NFC not working. I can still enable & disable it but will not detect any nfc card. Pls help?

Yeah, mine too, could it be its factory faulty??

What troubleshooting did you do? Have you at least restarted your phone first? Or boot up on Safe mode?

Mines not working too. Doesn't work in safe mode either and also tried a factory reset. Come on Sony!

Till now no reply from Sony. Had reset to factory settings but still NFC not working.

Is there a solution to this issue already?

My XZ always updated to the latest version and the NFC is not working for quite many months already.

Reboot weekly doesnt help.

Mines just stopped working randomly

Same issue. Since system update for XZs that was installed 2 days ago, all NFC gone. Can no longer read NFC labels and no longer pay with my phone.
