Android 4.4.4 rollout

Does any one have any clues as to when we can see 4.4.4 for the Z2 ?

Looks like Sony want to make sure we buy the new Z4 as we won't be getting the Android L update until a least February. Personally I find that disgusting and an insult to anyone who has bought their so called flagship products think I'll be looking to a new manufacturer in the future if that's how little they think of us

Hi davidswaddle69. No one has Android 5 aka Android L as it has not been released by Android.

As for 4.4.4 for Z2, I believe it is in the pipeline as Sony has so far just rolled it for Z1s only 2 weeks ago. Give them at least until end October and before revisiting this issue again.

Seems Z2 is a bit abandoned in terms of software updates
Well, I know the people are working so le't hope we will receive some info soon. 
I hope they could somehow improve the voice calling as it is what I am missing, many people on the other side are saying that they cannot hear me well, the voice is surrounding, it stutters and so on.

Let's see what dev can still improve in our phones.

Hi azzido, this issue of voic quality was addressed with the latest firmware .314. I suggest you update and see whether the issue persisted.

I'm especially looking forward to seeing the update to 4.4.4 so I can once again move apps to an external card. Hopefully it will come soon.

Hi azzido. Suggest u do a repair and see whether there is improvement. If problem remains, have to send in your phone for servicing.
