Annoying "Swipe down search"

Dear all,

I am using Z5 Premium and when I swipe down at any screen, it will automatically launch a search screen, showing recently use apps. Is it possible to disable this function? Sometimes I just want to slide down the notification bar to see the texts but this annoying search function may be triggered too.

That means it's the function of Sony Z5's launcher? Hopes that they will improve this in the future update.......

@TerryLou You can contact sony but I doubt it will help.

Why not just say "can't be disabled as it's part of the launcher" 

Nothing was solved in the thread you posted, and much like yourself, it was a waste of time.
