This should work in 5.0.2 too. Can you check safe mode?

I'll try that, but I'm not hopeful. I've seen it reported by others, no solutions.
I wanted to check my tablet - a Nexus 10 running Android 5.1 - but the tablet interface is different and I can't figure out where the setting is.
No joy. It's exactly the same in safe mode.
Not only did safe mode not work, it blew away my calendar and wiped out all my widgets (after rebooting twice). Not happy.
Also, every time I post a message here, Sony sends me a ridiculous email about my status changing (new member! first time poster!). Earlier, they said I'd "earned" a gold ranking for updating my email account, like a gold star for a first grader. They apparently think their customers are morons.
I am sorry but none of the above should have happened. On my older Z1 you can simply arrange home icons by tapping and dragging them around, same with home pannels and so. Are you willing to try a software repair?
Absolutely not. No more dangerous experiments. It's clearly a Sony bug in the Z3. Others have reported it. I should have just ignored it.
I'm extremely upset about the loss of my calendar (and widgets, but especially the calendar). I'm afraid I won't be able to get it back.
Safe mode wiped out my Outlook.com account, but when I try to add it back, I can't - says already provisioned.
This is very bad. I just spent hours setting things up after the upgrade. Now, not only are my settings lost, my phone is trashed. I do not want to have to reset it and start again. Don't be so quick to suggest "safe mode". It's not safe at all.
Microsoft has discontinued Outlook.com and replaced it with an app called Outlook that lacks a critical feature: the ability to select the "from" alias. So if I uninstall it, it's gone forever. Safe mode screwed up the account. I'm very upset. The phone is not rooted, so Titanium Backup can't help me.
