I have a Sony Xperia X5 (duel sim)
I have an Australian sim card and an overseas sim card. I am using the phone in Australia.
To connect to the network for the Australian sim card, it uses LTE. When I switch to GSM, it doesn't connect, which is strange because Australia has GSM networks.
When I try to connect the overseas sim card simultaneously, it doesn't work. It remains unable to connect unless I switch sim 2 (overseas sim) to LTE. When this is done, it disconnects sim 1.
Is anyone able to provide explanation of problem and solution so I can have both sim cards running at the same time? In particular, I would like sim 1 to work on 4g GSM network but it's almost as if the sim won't connect to that network on this phone, only LTE.
